Lazurus – An Augmented Reality Afro-futurism short film
Lazarus is a afro-futuristic, Augmented reality short film about Lucinda, a high flying criminal serving a life sentence. Their prison career is abruptly interrupted by a spiritual experience. It is also the prequel to the feature film Glorified.
Glorified – African woman centric Musical Supernatural Feature film
Glorified is an Afro-futuristic gospel feature film, about Africa; a musically gifted young woman with debilitating stage fright who finds herself on the run, with her husband for attempted murder. In a race against time they have to find prophet & healer Ngangezulu to get her father out of a coma and clear her name.
BirthRite – A documentary exploring African Birth Stories and bith rites
BirthRite is a documentary that curates and investigates African people’s birthing experiences. This journey will be navigated by Chule Gobodo our film director becoming and certified doula. We will follow her as documents women and birthing people’s stories, invetigate birthrights and explore African birth rituals to incorporate into her doula practice and her own future pregnancy and birth.
Model C – A series on African millennials struggling to adult
Model C follows four African Millennials seriously struggling to adult, They all met at school where they were the first black students introduced into the previously white only Model C school, Brenhaven High School. 20 years of friendship later those school experiences have influenced their adulting in more ways than they could have imagined. This comedy drama explores cultural identity, growing up, parenthood, selling out, epic failure and more than anything dealing with transition.
Love Unlocked – a Diversity and Inclusion Gamified dating show
Love Unlocked is a virtual dating show with the aim of connecting people throughout the sexuality spectrum and dating frameworks looking for love during the Corona Virus pandemic. With Nomuzi Mabena as our connector, and by paring our prospective couples or truples with relationship coaches audiences are in for a fun, informative, fresh, social distancing take on dating.
