Kutlwano has a BA in Motion Picture from AFDA, as well as certificates in leadership from the Entrepreneurship Track, with Unisa and YALI (Young African Leaders Initiave) and regional Leadership Center, SA.

She is currently the cinematographer at the William Kentridge Centre for the Less Good Idea; Maboneng JHB.
Kutlwano is married to musician Keke Mabusela or kekelingo as known by his fans and is mom to her beautiful daughter Ngwedi.
Kutlwano loves creating space for young creatives. She is a co-festival director of the Creative Youth Festival. She also lectures at The Academy of Sound Engineering Johannesburg.
